And SOS is supposedly one of the better mags, or so I hear. (It's the only recording magazine I read, and not very often at that.)
I sometimes feel Sven Lindqvist has a point saying all advertising should be banned, everywhere and in every form...
If you are just doing electronic stuff it might be ok, but myself I wouldn't run a live bass guitar or any miced instrument through a hi-fi speaker. They are just not built to cope with it. Trust me, I've blown a few! :)
Also I don't think all those big boys using B&W's are using them during...
No shadow should fall on the homerecording BBS, but this kind of stuff is not really our area of expertise. Why don't you go talk to Scott Dorsey on rec.audio.pro? (Usenet or http://groups.google.com) He'll talk to you all day about schoeps if you let him! :)
EBS Octabass is the best one I have tried, and together with the EBS BassIQ envelope filter pedal it is also one of the most entertaining pieces of gear that I own! It's quite expensive though, but as they say: Buy cheap, but twice...

If I necessarily have to choose a rapper (like someone said elsewhere I too think they missed a 'c' somewhere) it would be melle mel. But 'any' of the beatles? Ringo? :)

On the other hand the only SD...
Buy a few used mikes of Ebay. You'll get a better mike for the money, and you can almost certainly sell it again for more or less the same amount. At least if you have the time to lurk around for a while to learn how much the stuff usually sells for. There is quite a lot of pro-audio stuff...
Hm, I really don't think he sings that well om romanza. It sounds a bit more strained than I remember him otherwise. (But I have only listened to it once, so I might have been in a bad mood. *goes to fetch the CD*)
Well,
I use a digiface, and the little red light is indeed supposed to go out when you boot up. The red light indicates that there is no connection to the host machine. BTW I'm really pleased with the digiface so far, apart from the fact that it ha far too little driving strength in the...
Yes, and a lot of otherwise knowledgeable people seem not to have fully grasped this. I think I'll write a little something about it, but I'll do it in another thread because it's somewhat off topic and possibly long-winded. Hmm, I might even try to make some educational figures to go with it...
