I have no idea what you're setup looks like, so heres a "basic rack".
Power Conditioner (surge protection and provides outets for other equipment).
Patchbays (All equipment is hooked into the back so you can re-rout things quicky).
Preamps (boost signal from mics, instruments, etc to send to...
First off, is it possible to move the speakersforward and the singer further behind them? If not, keep reading.
There are "manual" feedback eliminators, or eq's with "feedback detectors". They're graphic equalizers with an led above each slider and when that frequency band gets too hot (or...
At our church we want have some 15" subwoofers in the house which we would like to shrink down to fit under a new stage extension. Would trimming the wood down to the bare minimum affect it's performance negativly? I only ask because if the bare cone of the speaker was capable of equal sound...
We use Beta87's and Beta 87a's alaong with SM58s for our live sound mix. And theres a dramatic difference between the 87 and 58 with drum bleed, particularly cymbals/high hat/snare. The 58 is worlds better for that, yet is a bit muddier/ nt as clear requireing some extra eq treatment.
Hope this...
Hi
I'm not sure if what I want to do is quite possible. On our live mixer, we have sixteen regularly used channels and we have a two channel compressor. Since every week the two channes that we want to compress are different, I was going to to run a cable to each of the 16 inserts to the...
If you only have this one channel, why do you need the mackie mixer at all? Would you alow to run out of the RNP right into your amp or headphone distributor? I don't know of any preampless mixers.
Hey

Actualy, their control surfaces can't be beat for the money. 8 Motorized faders for 20% the price of anyne else's. And since it doesn't affect sound quality, they're technically they're just as cean as using one at $2,000+.
I have a digital Behringer cable tester which tests basically any cable with any combination of ends. Now, Im sure its not, but is it possible that this could be used as the ultimate audio adaptor - to connect any two types of jacks durring last minutre wireing problems?
We do a radio boradcast of our church and once and a while our pastor will record his sermon in a room instead of live in the auditorium. What I'll do is play his recording back on the house system in the auditorium and record throuhg house mics to get genuin reverb like on a normal sunday and...
Techinically there are enough channels for what you listed, but if your cutting it that close I would reccommend a few more channels for expansion in the future.
