I hear you dude. Im not sure I can go through that again. It took me a set before I was feeling comfortable with the duct taped les paul. The Balance was way off due to the duct tape, so i was tring to fret while holding the neck from dropping down to my knees.

The company that hired us paid for everything, flight, hotel, backline. Plus I would hate for the airline to loose/damage my guitar and amp, which they did my luggage until the day we left. Not to mention the cost of checking a guitar into baggage at the airline was $80(NWA) one way I think...

If your talking brand new, no there is not much difference. I would consider the TC G-major before the other one listed here. The G-major has no limitations as far as how many effect you can use at one time. The other one i believe you can only blend 2 effect at a time as it only has two...

I downloaded a manual file off of Peaveys web site. Looks like the footswitch is a 1/4" plug. It doesnt say, but the black and white picture of the back pannell looks to be a 1/4" plug. Not sure which does the channell switching though(tip or which ring)

Do a comparison of just guitar - cord - input of amp, to guitar-cord-POD with everything shut off so its uneffected - input of amp. Tell us if it sounds different. I bet the set up with the POD will suck in comparison to just a straight cord. At least that way you will know what your up against.

What volume level are you recording at? Those GenzBenz amps brighten up at higher volumes, and have a big bottom on their own, but especially when lower. That from personal experience. YOu may have to crank it more for whatever reason. Poor pickups too could be the problem. just a few ideas.

I agree completely. Its only an SE and only cost me $350. The only thing im worried about is what is underneath it. Is it veneered due to it being peiced together? You know will it have a smooth surface or will it have lots of seams and joints showing where it was glued together or whatever...
