    hmmm... reasonable for me usually comes down to budget. Are you building from scratch? I'd want the live room as big as I could afford, I guess. Ceilings especially. What's your game plan?

    That's just it though. Dive in first. No holds barred. Lay down a track, then grab a different pickup and lay down another. Tweak the EQ for the different tracks . The only thing I could offer is to back off your gain from what you normally use. A notch or two would probably do it. Like I have...

    And I'd never thought about taping mics together like they did with the SM7 and the KSM141 combo for the vocals. Pretty cool idea.
