To reveal more of my ignorance - how many sends can be routed to an H3000? And if more than one, can you use multiple effects simultaneously in one mix session? Like pitchshift on vox - verb on drums - etc?

I took some of the advice from the condensor peeps - I layed down a moving blanket to cover my concrete floor and got the gain to be as low as I could. The reflections were minimal and the vocal sounded pretty tight.

Is the Eventide responsible for that real shimmering vocal quality in pro mixes? Granted that can be a combination of verb and such. Which would be the most affordable model, and would it be easily intergrated with my ProTools MBox?

Speaking of cutting - or boosting for that matter - how narrow or broad of a Q are you using? I have done sweeping to cut the offending frequencies - but such narrow Q make it appear like nothing much has been done for better or worse. Any rule of thumb there?
