Ibanez did make some really great rack mount effects. I have an SDR-1000 that I love. It's a bit gritty sounding but is just magic on a snare drum. Great units! Robert

That particular model is a Shure M68RM. Shure made a lot of M series mixers. Generally 4 Channels. The 67s have a VU meter, 68s do not. RM stands for Reverb Mixer, as you said Here's a link to the manual: http://cdn.shure.com/user_guide/upload/995/us_pro_m68rm_ug.pdf M mixers are pretty...

    Analog EQ... Repair or Rubbish?

Hello All, I've had a Tapco 2200 for some time and I used to use it with some frequency until it started to get too scratchy to be workable. It's a Stereo/Dual Mono 10band Graphic EQ that I always found easy to use and, more or less, invisible sounding. I pulled it out of the rack today and did...

I have a several models of older Shure Mixers. I think they are awesome and I use them for different little jobs around the studio and on live gigs. They are worth their weight in gold. I have reverb models, stereo models, different channel counts, etc. Incredibly helpful. Looks great!

    Post Your Analog Recordings Here...

AllenM, these are great! It's really well recorded and has a quasi-modern sound but still a great classic 60s-70s vibe. Really enjoying them both! Robert

Looking for Shure M68-RM Reverb Mixer

Automated searches on eBay is how I find everything, they call them 'Followed Searches'. Not great if you need it now but great for finding less common kit at non-Flower-Pot-Guy prices. Robert

Looking for Shure M68-RM Reverb Mixer

Is your goal to end up with a mono recording? Most (All?) of the 'M' Series equipment is mono only, as is the M68-RM. If that we're my plan I would probably go with an M367 (6 Channel, mono) The M367 has two mono outs, one is mic level and the other switchable between mic and line. It would be...

Looking for Shure M68-RM Reverb Mixer

They are nice units. Any particular reason you're looking for one? I had a search setup on eBay that ran each day and would alert me when one of those mixers was listed. After several months I managed to get a unit in good shape for for about $35, shipped. I have rather a collection of Shure...

    Tascam M3700 Story...

Not yet. I need to dig out the manual with the full schematic and scan it into my computer. I can send you the rest of the manual, without schematics now though if you'd like. Just send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a link... it's nearly 100MB. Robert
