I'm going to send over to the ME wav's around -18 RMS.

Bugs me when they don't properly A/B something, or give really short samples of whatever it is they're comparing or highlighting. Everyone say's what's up guys... come on! You're not going to find many videos where the creator isn't trying to be personable...it's YouTube, that's what they do.

The ME will take care of that, but it's up to me to pick which types of files I would like. Though, he's aware of what most places require, but I'll be the one to actually upload this file here and that one there. I'll figure it out. :thumbs up:

My first thought would be to rule out that channel strip, maybe some button or setting on it is affecting the signal. Have you tried taking it out of the equation? Sorry I missed somewhere that you've already tried that.

I shouldn't have "standards", but since I usually write/produce in the same genre, I'll sometimes use the same setups for certain channels; and that includes a chorus plugin, delay, and extra verb on the harmony channel. I don't really want anyone to "hear" the chorus effect, really, but just...

Spot on and very true. And I was torn between acoustic/minimal versions and all out production, which may influence the way a publisher sees the song. If it's in its "final form", it has to be pretty darn good or else the allure of what could be is gone - you're hearing the likely final outcome...
