Has anyone tried this brand? It seems to be a new and good. I was checking out their 50$ kick mike, but with 100$ more I get a full case, 4 more dynamics and 2 condensers... Or any recommendations on any similar priced package?

Hey guys! I was thinking if any of you guys would like to record a couple of solos as guests for my cd? :) The genre is symphonic black metal, it's a two man band, the singer, and I who do the music and record all instruments, but, as you can hear, I S-U-C-K at solos, so... anyone interested...

What would be the best set-up for recording multitrack? An Alesis Multimix 16 or a Behringer Xenyx 2442Fx mixer with a M-Audio Delta 1010 lt interface? Or maybe an equivalent option for the price? Min 8 simultaneous recording tracks.

I'm not sure about what you mean with "bypassing" the 414 mixer. I did the mixing in the peavey, since I had 4 condensers (and the 414 has only 2 mic ins without phantom) , and then I went into the 414's line ins.

I have tried the mackie, and it's a great mixer. I haven't tried the MX9000 but I did some research online and I have only heard great comments about it (at least about their latest, post mackie sue, edition). I would probably go for the behringer, especially if the mackie doesn't have a meter...

That might be my future setup... when I have the money. Mackie makes good stuff for the price.

Aux sends outs are unbalanced, so they are more likely to pick-up static (hiss). If I'm guessing correctly you are going to need those headphones quite far from the mixer. Unbalanced cables are for short connections. If you need a large cable, you might wanna consider a Direct Box. To turn your...
