I don't think you can really copyright the production as such; you copyright either the song itself (basically lyrics and sheet music) or a particular given recording of the song which has a specific solo or other "hooks" etc...in that way I guess you could say you're copyrighting the production...
lol. shill. ;)
It does sound good but for those of us on a budget, $225 might be a bit much, and from what I gather there are quality AIs out there for half the price if not less.
I'm not sure how the 08 would work (i.e. how easy or hard) in terms of combining tracks and saving off as a whole song though, either as MIDI or a .wav/.mp3 format.....or if something comparable like the Korg Krome can....I confess I'd love this myself as I'd rather not muck with a DAW if I can...
Good recap right there. Basically, piano and mic plug into the Audio Interface (often shortened to "AI") and the AI to your PC. Microphones are almost always an XLR connection, but all AIs have them, and they basically all have "phantom power" for your condenser mic. As to which AI, there...
Only in the broadest sense and I think it's obvious that's not what I'm talking about, as Farview correctly realized.
No, that would describe your replies. Note this is in the keyboards section and it's how I started out my post, so it's clearly not about sequencers in general or in a broad...
Anyone else not get why many keyboards even today you can only save to an SD card? wtf, this isn't a camera. Shouldn't they all be USB flash drives? What advantage does SD have? Cheaper to implement?
Keyboards for dummies question: for all intents and purposes, what's the (practical) diff? I get that a sequencer is recording the MIDI data, not the sounds themselves, but if I record something with a keyboard's sequencer or with its recorder and play it back, it would be the same...is the...
Bingo, exactly how I've always thought of it....although when I first started looking at recording and looking for definitions of/understanding of "mixing" and "mastering," the lines weren't so clear and 10 diff sites would give you 10 diff viewpoints.
Also what struck me was how apparently...
I don't feel it's all THAT "ambient"....my mildly educated guess would be mostly a combo of singing very close to the mic and some reverb, maybe a little echo, but you seem to be hearing more effect than I am.
Actually that's where I started. The intro stuff frankly I doubt is of any interest to most. Blah blah.....just tell me what I need and how to use :)
Actually this area of this article was lacking IMO. For ex first he says unbalanced is no big deal if you keep the lines "short"...
Realizing I needed to improve my knowledge here, I bounced around and found this, thought it was a good recap:
Recording Studio Cables: All You Need to Know | Ledger Note
They're quite wrong with their "That's really all you need to know about recording studio cables" bit, but again, IMO it...
If I understand you, this should not be an issue....2 would be my max and likely mostly just 1 at a time, in fact.
That is a concern. ugh. Unfortunately, most of what I'm seeing online doesn't tell you squat about the AI part of the mixers w/that capability, which is weak.
