1 question I understand that on a interface the mics plug into the 'in' and then the signal goes through to the computer via the USB, PCI or fire wire....but what are the 'outs' for?? such as on the Motu 896... there are 8 'ins' and 8 'outs'?? thanks, C oh and apart from sparing a PCI slot...
