The guitar of course is real, an old JV Squire Strat through Guitar Rig. The bass is real. The drums are samples, but I play them in real time with my keyboard.

Well, this song is a collaboration, I did all the music and production, but the vocal was sent to me as an mp3 by someone on Artist Collaboration. I've been trying to eq it but I just can't get a great sound out of it!

Ok, I taken some suggestions from previous comments and have done a new mix; -more low frequencies overall -less harshness and more warmth in the vocal -less fizzy lead sound -slightly louder back vocals -fixed the bass in the intro -raised vocal in the choruses and a bunch of other stuff...

Wow! Thanks for all these detailed comments! I did all the music and mixing for this, but the vocal was sent to me from someone on Artist Collaboration, he also wrote the lyrics. I found his vocal sound to be a bit boxey sounding and brittle, and have been trying to fix it. This was all...

By the way, I know the bass is too loud in the intro... :rolleyes:

Thanks for the comments! Maybe I'll leave it more or less as-is. Might turn the delay effect down in parts just a bit.

Wow! I thought it stunk a little... but if you guys think it's good, I'm in total agreement! :D I used my new Tele for all the guitar parts, it's just an inexpensive Squire, but I like the sound.

It's Battery 2, using the Drumkit From Hell sample set. I play everything from scratch on the keyboard. Glad you thought they were real!
