i SOMETIMES will record the line out of my bass amp directly into the firepod, as well as with the bass cab mic'd up, but most of the time i'm lazy so i just run the line out from the amp into the Firepod and it sounds pretty damn good.

the best way to avoid Pro Tools troubles is to download REAPER. ;)

the Audix D6 owns my soul. it's an awesome mic for kick, it really picks up that big bottom THUMP. thats all i use these days on my kick drum and it is the bomb. it even has a nice presence on the high end too, which makes it SUPER easy to mix with as far as recording.

yeah it was actually suggested by my Australian buddy who saw a commercial that had this song on it. and the bit at the end has a little Australian flavor to it too, ;)

hey dude that sounds cool, but i'm getting a really really high pitched noise in there that's hurting my ears and making me cringe. i dunno if it's feedback or noise from a plugin or something, but i can hear it big time and it's killin me.

the B8 are the best budget cymbals IMO. and the 2002's whoop the shit out of the cheap Paistes, and this is from my experience actually trying several of them out at the drum shop. can we say "shit" here? :confused:
