800ma is the capacity of the power supply. The pedal will take only what it needs.
But you need to check if the pedal wants AC or DC, how many volts, and what polarity it is if it's DC.
And see if the tip fits.:)
True enough. A graphic is easy enough to add in, though. At the very least it's worth it to sit with your system and graphic and find a starting curve so every time you go to a venue you can start at a place where you know your system is already dialed in, and adjust to taste for the room. And...
Yeah, skip the Behri, and ART also. The current tech at the bigger level is to use a speaker processor. It has eq, limiting, crossovers, etc. You can dial in your system to sound it's best by itself, and make adjustments to suit whatever room you are in. In this case, the Behringer is a great...
Cleaning out the foam helps a lot. It gets pretty gross after awhile, and can really affect the level, frequency, polar pattern, which of course affects their rejection. Unscrew the ball, pull out the foam, and soak it in some water and dish detergent. You can scrub the grill with an old...
A shorted jack has the tip and sleeve connected directly together, creating a short circuit. Most modern amps have a type of jack where the input is shorted to ground if no cable is plugged in. Using a shorted jack mimics having a guitar plugged into the amp. This lets you see how noisy the amp...
Hey- I was just coming back to this- the way to test is to plug in a cable with no guitar, and then a shorted jack. If either one of these results in radio noise, it's the amp. If not, it's the guitar.
If it's the amp, you can shield the preamp tubes, like you see in Fender amps, if they...
If the radio station volume cuts out when you turn the guitar down, it's the guitar, not the amp or cables.:) A guitar pickup can be up to a couple thousand feet of wire. It makes a pretty good antenna.
I had the Audio-Technicas psychedilicsoun mentioned for a long time, they are good. They died after about 8 years of hard use. I would have bought another pair but the store was out, so I bought the Sennheiser HD280s. Also have been very happy. They sound good plus have lots of isolation. On the...
"Good gain structure typically means setting these levels to get the best balance of high signal and low noise, without sacrificing the headroom needed to capture the full dynamic range. Achieving this balance throughout the signal chain is key to getting the most out of our gear and for...
You should also consider the approximately 9ms of delay you are introducing when tracking against monitors 10 feet away.
Now your vocal track has 9ms of latency. As does any bleed from your monitors.
This may or may not turn out to be a problem, but you should be aware of it.
Lay off the weed, nord, you're gonna hurt yourself.:p
The thing about reflections, is they have quality as well as quantity, ie they can sound good or bad. Reflections will be in different frequency ranges depending on what the room is made out of.
Yes, the hall effect is a reverb.

All the common things people think of as effects use delay in some way.:)
