Older projects should open in newer versions of cubase. If I remember right they introduced backwards compatibility after C7.

lol I pay for .5 updates and major updates. Thankfully cubase always seems to add enough new features to make the bump worth it. It's one of the reasons I recommend Reaper to people though.

I suggest you give a new speaker a try if this is what you are running into.

They work ok for practice and pitching into bon fires for fun. A crap amp is not the same thing as a cheap amp. There are cheap amps the kick ass. There are also definitely shit amps that are shit for pretty much everything.

Agreed. I'll take a nice amp and a shit guitar (that stays in tune) over a shit amp with a nice guitar any day.
