Where the grasses lie - Feedback required

Hi Mark I like it! A couple things stand out to me though. Firstly, the drums are way too drowned out in the first 43 seconds. It seems as if it was supposed to be softer during the intro and verse(?) however instead of sounding like a velocity change, it sounds more like just a fader was...

    duplicate track

Duplicate is definitely the easiest otherwise create the two instrument tracks, make sure the midi input is set to your keyboard/controller for both and arm both. Midi played through both vsti's in at the same time.

    South Of The Water

Hi endlessrain Thanks for the listen and comments. I can't take credit for composition as it is not my song or band in any way, but i'll just accept the compliment:spank: . As soon as i got a chance to listen on my monitors i see what you mean by the volume levels, and also reminded me why i...

    duplicate track

Let me just make sure i understand correct. Do you want to be able to control two virtual instruments with one midi channel, or have two instrument tracks but control them with one midi controller/keyboard? Or, the third option, play/record on one instrument track and duplicate that to...

    Computer for amateur beginner

Not really. I bought a win 10 pro license for him for 30 bucks online(not cracked, genuine). Everything under $500, all parts under warranty with a system my IT tech said is worth around double if I wanted to sell.

There is something wrong with my mix and I dont know how to fix it.

Cool song Pirez05! Mix sounds fairly solid. The only thing standing out to me is the vocals. Throughout the song it's not present enough IMHO. This genre of music really shines with the vocal being very present and not "hidden" or pulled back into the mix(does that make sense?). Apart from...

Expensive audio interface or cheap audio interface with expensive mic preamp?

The RME's are great, I don't own one but a friend of mine has the Babyface Pro and swears by it. However you need more inputs and cost to quality I personally love the Steinberg interfaces. A UR44c with a Fethead, Cloudlifter or Dynamite will be cost effective, more than enough clean low noise...

    I hate u

Hi Neuro Not bad at all! Good job with the english vocals. I just gave it a quick listen on my earbuds through my phone, but here's my take on it so far. The low end seems to be a bit muddy, without any distinction between the guitars lower frequencies and the bass guitar. I would firstly try...

    Rise Up - Original

Hi Bruthish, somehow missed this song. Really like those rhythm guitars, nice and mean. I would raise the bass up a bit as been said before. If you bring down the drums, don't drop it too much. Just a db or two will be more than enough, but the chorus lead vocal needs to come up a bit. After...
