    Equalizer stomp box

Funny you should say that.... I had one and, on its own or with an MZ-2 it was OK. However if I tried to use it with the Boss OD-20 double distortion pedal or a PodPro it boosted the noise floor to the point where I couldn't it was just unusable ! Sad really 'cos I later, after I sold the GE-7...

    Recording with POD

I'd go with the XT as it is the best bang for your buck with a USB out. I have the Pod Pro (for the S/PDif out, before usb) the xt and the xt Live. They do require a little tweakery but it is possible to get some nice sound down with out too much hassle !

    Wireless Tie-clips (Lavaliere ?) Mics

Cool ! I'm quite tempted by the Carvin one as it will also double as a wireless guitar connection. Saying that I have used Sennheiser tie mics before and they were great !

    Wireless Tie-clips (Lavaliere ?) Mics

I need to record a bunch of lectures for work (male spoken voice) and I was wondering about peoples experiences with wireless tie-clip mics ? I don't mind spending what needs to be spent to get a nice recording. I was thinking about one of these...

    LP Vs Variax A/B test

I guess I could stick one in a mix with out too much bother. Anyone any major prefs as to how I record it ? An C414 into the Avalon in front of the Marshall would not be too hard.

    LP Vs Variax A/B test

yep ! That would be me on the Line6 forum. Same user name and everything. Line6 acknowledge there is a problem with the pitch shifting and that is good enough for me. They are working on it and as far as Im concerned that means Im not imagining it. I can record it also. Maybe it is specific to...
