I swapped from PC with Sonar to a G5 with Logic at the beginning of the year. The G5 is great but Logic is clunky and difficult to figure out. Id go with MOTU DP if I did it again !!

I wont use MF anymore, they tried to screw me royally and never again. They were fine until something went wrong (totally not my fault, the item was broken ! AND they were passing off open box items as new.... twice) I eventually (after 2 months) got my money back though they never did refund...

Mic input is for Low Z (impedance) signal and "line in" is for hotter line level signal. Plugging Line level kit into a mic in will not sound good !!

I just got a Peavey RQ 2318, it is OK. Maybe worth a look !

I have two 282s and an RME Audio Digi96/8 Pad card. I like em both though Id be hard pressed to say one was a million times better than the other. They are both nice. My 2c, The MOTUs rock !

I think the LE has also lost the compressors on each channel.

Hey Dude, I have had (and still have) a bunch of strats. If you get the opportunity check out a PRS CE24. I went for one after playing strats for ages and I just love it. I think I payed about $1650 for mine. Expensive but what the hell, I just love it ! It is different but hell thats OK !!
