    Check this out!! Hot Stuff!!!

Agreed. To be honest, the website is far more impressive than the "talent". Production was weak, lyrics are just re-hashed drivel we've heard a million times before. Not trying to be harsh, I just think you'll have a hard time trying to get anywhere without a unique angle, and these guys aren't...

OK. You have what , 10-12 mic pre/inputs on that mixer? Well the 532 only has the capability of recording two tracks at a time. That is to say, the Left channel of the line in, and the Right channel of the line in. So you would have to mix all the mics down to a two bus into the 532.

OK. what mixer do you have?

    mixing consoles

right. You're limited by the 532's inputs. You could still combine a bunch of mics on a drumkit down to two tracks if you wanted, though.

Yes, you'd hook it up to the line in, but you'll still only get two tracks of simultaneous record. In other words, no matter how many inputs your mixer has, you've only got a single stereo input on the 532.

How Do I Uninstall Drivers...I'm dumb

Actually, I don't know about ME, but we'll give it a whirl. In the control panel there should be something about audio/sound devices. Then select from the list of devices the card you're messing with. Then there should be either a "drivers" or "properties" tab. Or "advanced". Eventually you'll...

What Boss unit do you have? What exactly are you trying to accomplish with the mixer? Inputs? Actually mixing recorded tracks?

Anyone know how to burn a CD from a Sonar RIFF file at higher volume?

If you have the Timeworks plugs, the compressor is pretty nice. Or an incredibly easy (albiet expensive) limiter is the Waves Ultramaximizer. You can squeez maybe 5 db out of it without it getting too noticeable.

    cakewalk speed vs ntrack?

We already have that in Sonar, right? Apply Effects?

    Sonar 3.0 audio editor?

After much deliberation, I went for Wavelab 4.0 a while ago. It's handy for more in depth editing. The cool thing is, you can select a portion of audio in Sonar, then go up to tools and select wavelab, and it'll open up the selected clip in wavelab. Make whatever changes, save the file, and...

    Studiocovers bit the dust?

When did that happen? I haven't visited the site for a while and I went to try to to find an article I had read. No more Studiocovers.com? Bummer, that was a hell of a resource.

    Stepping outside the Genre

Thanks for listening, but I'm not trying to make a traditional hip-hop song. This is a rock song. With live bass guitar. One guy already stepped up to the plate, so we'll see how that turns out. Thanks for the input, though.
