If you are lookin at the rokits look at m-audio's bx5a monitors. they are generally compared. There are pro's and con's to each i went with bx5a.

Go with 4''-6''703 OC for bass trapping and you can use 2'' of it which will cover the highs and high mids. If you really want foam, I'd say go with 3''-4''. That is jsut me though, it really depends on your needs.

I use the ub802 with a shure sm57 for guitar I am wondering if i should get the tubepre to replace the behringer. The DMP3 would be used for vocals probably if I got one in the future. Maybe owning both the tube pre and dmp3 wouldnt hurt either??

Is a presonus tubepre a big enough step up to spend 50$ on upgrading from a behringer ub802 mixer(IMP preamps). I am wondering if the 50$ is a good deal or if I shoudl just save up for the DMP3 in the future.

ZBT cymbals sound like crap recorded, but they are great for any begineer drummer in practice and for live use.

yea i was lookin at the beta 52. I love my MXL 990, so we differ there. I may just put the Nady Condensor on the Hihats

Well the drum room is fine its treated with 703 bass traps and some more absorbtion. I was thinking about adding in the nady mics for the toms. if it helps Ill keep em. I mostly want to get the best sound out of the 2 over heads the kick and snare though. So the mxl/akg/shure combo sounds good??

I am looking for more low end and thump in the kick mic. The Nady doesnt have that great of low end, you can get a little thump out of it though.
