if they are angles up the sound will be going to your ears rather then your chest. id receomend buildign some speaker stands, if you made them yourself they'd probably cost you 35$ which is the same as mopads.

they isolate the speakers from my stands well enough for me not to complain.

i agree with these people. try for a small tube combo.. Carvin Bel Air is pretty affordable :)

I went to go buy an SUB bass and i plugged it in an ampeg svt and thought it lacked tone and i ended up hating the look of it. It coems in limited colors textured paint and the "metal" pickgaurds. Anyway, I went back to the used section and picked up a schecter stiletto instead. Much more tone.

I have a Gk bass head and it has a built in patch bay for tuner out send and return, can someone explain send and return to me, especially on how and why its useful or not.

I've had that problem on our bands kit too, some lugs are jsut completely loose. I guess same tension doesnt apply to the dial?
