I have a Tascam DP-008-EX and have not noticed this. Are you are pluging the guitars directly into the Tascam? If your AC adapter has straight blades, try reversing it in the AC outlet. Some tube amplifiers have a two position power switch, or a hum switch that reverses the hot and neutral wires...

That actually didn't sound bad, a little tweaking here and there. I play a couple of songs that call for a capo, but I think playing without the capo sounds better. The acoustic guitar sounds fuller (probably wouldn't matter for electric guitar) and I think my vocals sound better.

The vibrato seems to not sync with the rest of the elements occasionally. I can't quite put my finger on it. I like the vocals.

Try reducing or increasing the gain in the software you are using so the outboard interface gain control in is a different position. It may be a bad spot on the pot.

Before the thread gets too far afield.... I didn't even know Reaper had a manual. I installed it and started using it. Any questions I had (there were a lot) had an answer on youtube. Kenny Gioia on Reaper Mania had most of the answers to the questions I have had so far. Google is your friend...

If you are getting a build up in the low mids in the vocal you can try high passing the vocal reverb around 400 to 500hz. I started doing that and it clears up my vocals pretty good without affecting the reverb sound too much. The 24 Dec mix sounds the best so far.
