I've used it a few times when rendering loops but never found desired results from running it on the master bus. Just my opinion though.

Aye I agree. I've used software very similar to this and it always leaves ugly sounding leftover artifacts and I guarantee you will still hear some remnant left of what you removed. Only way to professionally remove a part from a mix is within the DAW of the original mix.

I actually try and find bass and kick that don't share the same freq range. I give a slight boost to the kick in the freq it works best at. Then I find the best freq in the bass and cut that freq from the kick. To this for both. Then cut all below 60hz on everything else in the mix. Usually...

I have more luck when I use EQ cuts rather than boosts. Stay away from the boosts and EQ is a very helpful tool.
