Lewitt seem to be recommended a lot online but have not met anyone using them. So would the Oktava Mk220 work? how would they match up to the other mics? As the Oktava pair is not even half the price of the others!

I think I'm going for the Istanbul. In future I'll start replacing the cymbals one at a time with 2002s. I can hardly find the full range new, l would not even try to look for used here.

I was Looking at the A391. The A custom is just below 900. The difference in price is due to import taxes. I would get more value out of European made items that is why I was considering Paiste.
