:cool:Yo "MIX" and "M. D."
THANKS! Since my CDs from the 1600 Yam won't "play" in most CDs, like my car or home Sony player, I guess I'll have to do 16 bits.
Some great music MD. So much talent. Appreciate your help.

:cool:Can one of the crew tell me if it "really" makes any difference doing a CD on 24 bits?
For some reason, I may not have tried using the 24 bits. Once I may have remembered that the 24 bits "won't burn" a CD. [Using my AW1600]
I get pretty clean sounds from the 16 sounds. But, I always...

For the price, and the "sound" and the speed to burn CDs, I'd tell you to check out the Yamaha AW1600.
The 1600 will do lots of "easy" stuff and you can delve deeper into those "other" tools you might want to study/learn each day.
There is an excellent Forum dedicated to the 1600...

Sounds like you have just about anything/everything available to melt-in your groovy vocal tracks. I may mention a couple of things that you might try:
1. Use a Yamaha "STAGE" reverb....just add the setting around 15-20; check it out when it sounds good.
I've heard several...
:cool:Yo D!I have a Grace Design that works fine.* I use it on vocals mostly; however, I have used it on a synth.* The newer Grace also has a ribbon mic plugged in. Spring is in the air, I hope.Green Hornet

I've used Yorkvilles in the past. Not a bad product. But, I believe the Yorkville doesn't compare to an Adam 7. I bought a pair of Adam monitors a short time back.
When you're "mixing" tracks to burn a CD, quality of sound and, of course, how you use your gear, would be...

Check with the "attorney" and don't let your B3 crash on the down on the other 76 key keyboard!!:}
As mentioned, MF and "others" have many types of stands. Need to make sure you "MEASURE" length in any stand you send along. As I once found that my 61 key keyboard...

Yamaha AW1600. Great sound. The price is reasonable. There is a Yamaha 101 recording program to read.
The 1600 has a reasonable amount of "reading" to get you recording very good CDs. Also, the "other" forum for the 1600 is totally made to assist folks who need help...

Well, things are probably different about a "few" things in the Colonies. However, here is one thing I can pass on to you. Here in the USA, I took out "lightning" strike insurance for my home. And, IT WAS COVERED WHEN MY AW1600 got blasted by Klingons ~ it was fried. But, I...

You might try running your "Ultramizer" into Google; then check to see if you can communicate with the product. If not, send your FREE CALL to "Sweetwater Sound."
"Sweetwater" has a "free" techie phone call for help. If you happen to have a vendor product agent, you call...

Just a thought you might check out. Most of the newer synths are plugged into much reverb in most patches. You can, in most synths, lower the reverb to try a song. If you inadvertantly plugged in a patch with much less auto-reverb, the "clear" sound...
:cool:Yo Batterista:
With my AW1600, I can put reverb and "two" tracks. I seldom us more than 4/5 tracks for most of my work. But, as you know, you can overdub, copy other tracks to double them up, and I can use "any of the dynamic" voices on many tracks. Like, I might find a jazz flute a...
:cool:Yo President "Batterista" in DC:
As noted by our colleagues, most of your tracks are dry; you put in Reverb/affects when you are ready to mix.
I'm not sure if I got you right but my Yamaha unit can only dump two reverbs at once and probably one reverb is plenty. Most good units are...

"Pops, clicks, and static....hmmm? I recorded that song back a few years ago. Never made the big-time.
However, without disdain, I would guess that since you "wiggled the wire and found noise," you have found a "cause" of at least one problem.
Grounded plugs may...
:eek: Found the info from my post, which was not posted. Guess the AW1600 doesn't have much info out there.
As is the same "SONG," the 1600 has a gaggle of "Libraries." It's only a matter of punching in the right set-ups to avoid the amibguity found in the manual. The "cabinets" I...

Just today I had some "sound overkill" via a wireless pair of cans I use to just knock around. I then moved back to check on my Beyer 250 cans--kind of a tad loud too.
Got into input of sound balances, including micpres that also had a tube built into the unit...

THANKS for the clear and organized manner. Each time I tune in here, or record in my studio, I learn something.
Manuals are sometimes tough to wade through; however, "coherence" makes clear and "clear" learns something.
I dig all kinds of "101" lessons. A great asset...
