ok, cool, so right now im gonna save a few bucks (about $400) for these upgrades: new and bigger hard drive ( possibly 100gb ) 2 sticks of 512 ram and the M-audio Audiophile 2496. is that all i need to make "good music" ?

thanx, thats what i might do, since i also run photoshop on this pc as well. so if i switch both of them to 512 is anything gonna mess up? will i need to reinstall anything?

o is dat the only memory available for my pc? are there larger ones i can get?

yea i want a second one, i got an external drive. but i dont know if i should to replace my second drive cuz it says i have important files on it or sumthin

my pc was store bought i got 250 ram memory left but i plan on increasing that soon how can i found out if i have an available PCI port?
