    Great advice, I was just going to mention recording into a DAW. I'm not sure what your budget is, but I see a lot of people raving about reaper it's around $60.00. There is another called Ntrack that's about $50.00.

    Using 64 bit and 32 bit PCs for the same projects

    I don't think you'll run into any issues. I'm always transferring files from my 32 system to my 64bit. I'm not saying there can't be an issue, but I've never run into one.
