+1 for DrBill
+1 for DrBill, bought a mic off of him recently, great guy to deal with. Quick shipping, packaging was perfect. He's done this before, you can tell. :D
Thanks!
I just got mine out of the boxes lastnight. I got two 73s. Initial reaction was "holy cow! these things are built like a damn tank!" I haven't had a chance to hook them up yet, the two rack places I had set aside for them aren't deep enough to use them. These things are pretty big...
bleh, I just checked the console again and now it says that shipping invoice was paid. I know this is a total pain for you but I'm curious if since I tried it at another location if it went through twice. Can you PM to discuss?
Thanks,
Kevin
Chance,
I just tried again from a different PC at a different location, same result. Not sure if mailing a check is an option or maybe we can get Randy to have a look-see if he's got a second. I just nixxed my credit cards to avoid temptation so I'm not sure where to go from here. Appreciate...
Go to Lowes (or any other hardware type store) and pickup one of these:
http://www.filmandvideolighting.com/eloute.html
It'll have led lights that light up when you plug it in and then you check the light code with the manual to see whether you've got some wires mixed around or something...
You didn't answer my question, grump. What if it was exactly what I was looking for. No scenarios required, just your answer.
I would think with sooooooooooooo many years under your dusty belt, you'd atleast side with being satisfied with finding what you were looking for and not fault...
the "first click" method for using a channel insert as a direct out should probably be done with a standard 1/4 to 1/4 cable. Just to take the confusion out of it. This is how I do it when I need more ins than the few stand alone preamps that I have will accomodate and it works great.
Someone...
I've got the deluxe roadhouse, and I quite enjoy it. I'm really super biased though, all I've really ever had was Fenders and a few knock offs here and there, so if you get the chance to check out a few strats at a local guitar shop you should mos. def. do that to see what you think.
Seems to...
But.....what if I tried multiple amps and the EVJ produced exactly what I was looking for? Would it still be a bad deal? You know...because your opinion on what I like isn't very important. Just curious.

Nice find, I live about 2 hours East of Cincy, keeping my eye on a few things as well. Hate to see stuff like this though, looks like a lot of good times in that place over the years.
I'm a FenderWhore: :(

Patience, yes...Adult.....not so much...
I'd be willing to bet than any one of us that participated in this GB has purchased more new toys in the past year than any ten kids I know. :D
And when this magnificent person posts a goodguy reply you shall earn your first shed of respect, assuming of course that it's unsolicited, etc. If it's another noob, expect round #2 of accusations and commentary.
I'm surprised he hasn't been neg. repped to hell and back yet.
The point here wasn't to insinuate that your reputation was "bad". The point was that you just waltz in, camp your ad and expected everything to go swell with no reputation (good or bad) at all. The logical side of me wants to...
