    Hung up on FX loop

Personally, I gotta have a loop. The loop on my Mesa Trem-o-verb is switchable between the Orange channel and the red and both or off which was a big selling point for me. I like several diff. delays on a clean channel but nothing on a heavy gain channel and hitting one button to make that...

    Good Guys List

Well said, Sir! The only thing better than making a few bucks off of things I don't need anymore is trading it for something else that I probably don't need! BentRabbit has his sh*t together like woah. Great doing business with you! Kevin

My Experience Is That Tone Controls on Guitars Do Very Little

The tone controls on my strat are pretty much the only thing that changes between my crunchy, rock your face off and my wailing, shredding, super-fast licks. All sarcasm aside, I have pedals and multiple channels on my amp but tone controls usually make the needed changes for me...

    ATTN: Builders/Designers/Anyone - Studio Desk

I'd like to take the oppurtunity to point out that an enclosure on a pedestal with a door on the front and foam, etc *read* MAY cause heat issues with your PC. I suggest you use this tactic wisely. An alternative to the door (which is the way I went) was actually monitoring the db level on...

Looking for good hip hop microphone.

I'm NOT a complete noob and I JUST got my first interface with built in pres. It's not a stretch to think he may or may not have a preless interface. You offer no explanation as to why you think he has built in pres. Please explain. For the record though, pres are like everything else...

    FS: LAptop

Just stirring the pot, my friend. It's what I do. Plus I saw the perfect opp. to rewrite the greatest song on the planet. I took advantage of it. I usually watch my posts like I hawk when I put something up for sale so I completely agree. No response would leave a sour taste with me as...

Feeler: Looking to sell in near future, if anyone is interested.

Okay: Getting closer to having time to deal with this crap. Mackie CR-1604 - $145.00 Pretty good shape, everything works, no known issues. Has some wear on it from use though. Alesis - Microverb 4 - $75.00 Works perfectly, has power adapter. Pro-Co PM148 48 point 1/4-1/4 patch bay -...

    Group Buy Interest?

I guess maybe I should have been just a little more specific. I understand that because I wasn't the original purchaser of said mic that they have no obligation to me and my saggy ribbon. I just want to fix the thing and use it. If I have to purchase a replacement, so-be-it.

    Group Buy Interest?

As far as I know, we've yet to see replacement ribbons for the first round group buy mics. My question is: What recourse do those have, who bought first round ribbon mics sold by those who participated in that group buy who have saggy or ripped ribbons? I know I bought my first round mics off...

    February DIY Challenge!

Pedalboards can be a very quirky beast, just don't make the same mistake I made. I figured out EXACTLY what I wanted, spent all sorts of time making the board then decided I didn't want to use 4 or 5 of the pedals and got rid of two of the amps whose footswitches were taken into consideration...

    February DIY Challenge!

I just finished Two 1-12 extention cabinets. I've been threatening to do it forever and finally got off my duff. Walnut & Oak, I used Cherry on the backs of both and cherry on one front and cherry/walnut on the other. One is "classic openback" the other is slightly different but still an...

    Group Buy Interest?

I had the same problem. The Virtual Check System is kinda buggy seems like but it works even though no confirmation screen loads. Wait for Chance to respond (maybe even send him a PM) to confirm.

It's not so much about what I want for them, as it is what people are willing to pay for them. All reasonable offers considered.

Feeler: Looking to sell in near future, if anyone is interested.

I've not got the time right this second to deal with unracking everything and shipping but I should in the next few weeks. Trying to scale back and I want to try a few new things out so I'm looking to get rid of most of what I have. Mackie CR-1604 - Pretty good shape, everything works, no...

BBE 882i Sonic Maximizer - Place in the studio

I fell for the BBE hype back in the late 90s, it wasn't until a few years later I actually monitored a signal with it and then took it completely out of the loop and gave it another shot. I could find more use for a toaster in my rack.
