Well first i think you have some cool ideas, but the mix seems a little thin and hyped in the highs...almost to the point where it sounds airy. The blasting would be cool if done more sparsely...uummm. Sounds appropriate for the genre however. Where are the gargled on glass vox. I was waiting...
Damn it! I thought this was the Patrick Swayze song from Dirty Dancing...now i'm disappointed...J/K
Seriously this is pretty cool stuff. it does remind me of stone temple pilots alot. Thats good!

Here is a link to the song Rami did vox, Mitch bass, and i handled guitars, drums, and keys. Just curious as to what people thought of our unique take on this classic.
I think everything is good now, but the kick isn't clicky enough for my taste. It still sounds a little muffled to me. It just needs more presence to cut through a little more. Other than that i think you are pretty well on the money for this sound/genre of metal.
Nice tune. Drums are too verby, and the beat is a little odd in the begininning to me. Some of the acoustics strumming is popping out at me a little too much...perhaps a little more compression to tame them. Not bad though. Looking forward to hear it completed.
Nice job on the recording. If i could offer up any advice it would be to boost a little of the highs on the snare, and the kicks, also bring those up a little as well. The vox sit appropriately. Also i think (personal opinion) the entire mix needs a little brightness to it. Good job though...
thanks for the heads up Boz!
I am not really trying to offend anyone here. And i did say anyone is welcome to try some vocals on it. It better not end up on youtube with transtesticles and whatnot all over the place...i am interested in a voice on this track. Anyone can try that is really...
Nice!!
very nice recording. the vox are what stick out in my mind as excellent. if i had to complain about anything i would say the drums are a little thin sounding to my ears...but that is a very minor thing. Nice job, i really like your voice.
Definately has a Meshuggah vibe with less powerful vox. The drums need serious definition in this genre. I would try and fatten up the rythym section, and just get a more crisp mix in general, and lose a little of the vocal distortion. Not bad for what you are going for, but it's not really...
My friend Mitch and i decided to put a new spin on an old Animals song. We sorta turned it into industrial metal. Both of us tried vox on it, wasn;t working with our voices. Anyone here wanna colab on it with us??? I used to frequent here back in the day and had some really great colabs with...
very good song, i thing the vox really make it, the drums seem to sit wierd with me, not just the sound but leading into the chorous it just sounds off
good job
