did no one mention a popper screen? you know that popper stopper or whatever the f... they call it. push him up to the mic and say go. then get a towel and clean up.
otherwist I would use the 58. rugged
I use korg triton w/ perfectioneer "drum hits and ambience"
it sucks because I can beat the hell out of a drum kit, but I can't have a daily battle with the neighbors. these drum samples sound so good, except for the crash cymbols.
follow the advice given by the previous link, and the reading you should do, modern recording techniques is a good resource. just don't start spelling everything all rediculous
don't smash it, you may one day get a cool sound out of it.
don't put another dollar into it though.
my ibanez el/acoustic has lasted through flights across the room, and never goes out of tune. may not sound the best, but it has lasted years.
I want to make my room a little better, in a cheap way.
it is a very open room with bare walls behind the monitors, hardwood floor, sliding glass door to outside, and about 10 feet wall to wall in front of the speakers. any good suggesstions?
no.
I think any artist that makes anything with substance gets dissatisfied now and then, and sometimes for a long spell. the trick is to really believe that there is something worth doing inside. don't try to control it, or edit it too hard. people with harsh atitudes and bad criticism only...
its a high pitched buzz.
I have done many tests.
It comes out of the main 2 outs, and both the headphone outs.
The only time it went away it when I used TRS cables in as test. The problem with that is, I need to go 1/4 in to RCA. Its a souncraft spirit8 mixer. I really want to use the monitor...
I am having trouble with noise when monitoring from the mbox outputs.
I want to use the playback inputs on my soundcraft board.(they are stereo rca)
Does anyone else use the origional mbox?
If so, how are you monitoring?
thanks again
has anyone gotten a cool sound out of the very inexpensive, behringer tube ultragain preamp?
is this just cheap junk (like i new i should not have bought it), or can i squeeze the money out of it?
tell me please...
I am using a soundcraft spirit e8 board, and I want to connect a behringer
1953 mic pre as an insert. The mixer allows for inserts on each channel, as well as 2 on the masters. How do I do this. I know nothing of insert effects.
Thank you.
