    My latency was about the same as yours. You should download these ASIO drivers here: http://tippach.business.t-online.de/asio4all/. My latency went from 1.5 seconds to 13 milliseconds in Cubase! I was kinda pissed, having gone back to Windows from Mac, but this driver made me very happy...
