I never thought of that. I just assumed that if you played it once it would be no bother to re-track it. You could try holding down CTRL and clicking all the notes you want from the piece (It will miss out the little ones) and then Cut/Copy them all out. Select all the little ones and delete...

Once you realised why it happened and how to stop it in the future, surely the quickest way to fix it would be to re-track the part? That's what I would do anyway, depending on the length of the part, how many notes are played/effected by it, etc. If it was a bit of a fill for 30 seconds or so...

I enjoyed the song too much to really concentrate on the mix, it all sound pretty f'ing good to me. Personal preference, I'd probably drop the Electric Piano and guitar solo down a touch but it wasn't a mix killer. Fantastic song, mix, performance. All round :thumbs up:

I'd say take another look at that picture and take a guess why it's now working. That soldering deserves a WOW! Get a new board for it and practice your solder skills on the old one in the meantime.

For me the backing tracking sounds kind of lo-fi, garagey, while the vocals are trying to be something different, maybe more modern and don't fit in with the backing. They're are also much much louder than the rest of the track. I would take them down quite a bit to make them blend better. I...

Never used pitch correction on anything. I'm pretty happy with my shitty voice. It'll do. Only has to please me. I have time stretched a few vocals here and there though (not the same thing I know) but mainly for effect rather than vocal correction. :thumbs up:

Back in the early 90's I had an old 1973 ARIA that looked like that. Bolt on neck, tailpiece and floating bridge. Made in Japan. Nice guitar but a bastard to keep in tune. If I remember right it had a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Gave it to a Macmillan raffle in the end. :thumbs up:

Have you put this on eBay? I think you'd stand a better chance on there than on here. I seriously doubt anyone around here is going to spend that much money on a desk. Most people build their own to suit. Good luck with it.

It is a good room for me. Although attached, it's away from the house at the back of a long extension giving me a lot more freedom, time-wise, as to when i can make a noise. I'm a bit of a night owl and in this room I can make a reasonable amount of noise all through the night without anyone...
