I would be extremely careful playing with a cracked cymbal, especially something like a crash cymbal. They can crack further and send pieces flying like projectiles in unpredictable directions, including at you. I've been hit by them before. It sucks

I used to dislike thunderbird basses, but now I think they are pretty cool. Agreed on the lp basses though. My first ever bass was an old squire p-bass that had the hugest tuners ever, and the input jack was on the FRONT of it :eek:.

The ibanez has seymour duncan/ibanez pickups in it (stock on the ibanez sz-720). The LP has the stock gibsons in it. So, maybe..but the pickups in the gibby aren't mine to change. The ibanez however-- I've wanted to change the bridge to something better for a while. Maybe a zebra duncan...
