    New studio

This forum has a lot of great info and informative members. No one is trying to be rude here. You posted asking us to let you know what we thought of your studio in a post that just showed you playing a repetitive drop tuned riff. Where's the pics of your studio???

    New studio

Wrong forum! All I saw was some weird face pulling, drop tuned guitar playing that got real repetitive. Is there going to be vocals to that?

    ART DIGITAL MIC Pre-Amp II...

I just ordered one for a really good deal $ wise from my local dealer. I know it isn't high end mic pre-amp but has anyone got one of these latest mic pre-amps by ART? If so...what are your opinions on it.

    BR1600CD question...

I gave up using the BOSS BR1600 to write to disc. Too much inconsistencies from player to player not recognising the disc is even in a player. I just use the USB now and burn discs from my pc using Nero. A million times quicker as well.

    Trap Building Question

I would make them around 4" thick, no gaps in between with a 2" gap at the back between the wall and the last layer of rigid fibreglass. Below is an awesome arcticle covering everything you need to know about trap building etc. http://www.ethanwiner.com/acoustics.html :)

    My Best Tune so far

Hey Naka's, the lead level is fine I meant perhaps the whole tune could be hotter by a few db's. Cheers big ears! :)

    My Best Tune so far

Hey Naka's, I like the overall performance from all the musicians. The mix in general to me in my studio was lacking in some bottom end. I'm not entirely sure if the actual bass needs to be bought forward in the mix or whether the low end acroos the field needs attention. I like the lead guitar...

Two acoustic diddy's for the penut gallery

I listened to the instrumental, nice playing. I think the lead guitar needs to be bought up in the mix, the rhythm guitar has a few boomy moments that bury the lead guitar slightly. Maybe reduce the low's on the rhythm guitar. A minor mix issue that could be the difference between my listening...

Think I finally got a mix I can listen to

OK......The note is there, it's just buried in the mix. If you're happy with the solo where it is...........then lock it in. :) I would leave it where it is Ed, maybe bring the intro note up a tad in the mix and see if you like it like that. I think what may have been throwing a few people off...
