Re: q10 I think that's basically it. In my case I connect the main L/R out of Q10 to a mixer. That way my vocalist/players can hear while recording. However, the signal they get is unprocessed. If you use outboard gears that would not be a problem. I believe you don't even have to check...

First, I checked out Delta1010 primarily to track drums but it didn't work on my "e-machine". So I tried MOTU 1224 which didn't work either. Finally, I exchanged it for Q10, it worked!, and I never regret. I love the quality and ease of use too. With Delta you still need to buy 8 mic pres. Q10...
