What is the proper way to adjust volume on individual tracks in Wavelab? Some of the tracks need a little less volume. (I have a hard time understanding how to use audio montage, so I'm not using it right now...) Thanks in advance.

I've had some experiences with the wrong input selection. But this one is not it. I do make sure that the input selection is correct. It's simply weird.

It's a new track that has not been named. Other tracks don't have non-English charactors either.

After recording several song, I went back to one particular song to add a new track. I setup a new track, select the input, arm and push the record button. The cursor is moving but Sonar would not record at all. The signal meter is showing some thing... If I open up a new project I could record...

Does it make sense to insert Compressor and EQ in V main? The reason I ask is because the signal there is in the red while the individual tracks are green.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I even bought an extranal CD burner but still Wavelab doesn't see it. Thankfully Nero program comes with the CD burner I bought so I'm working on it now. I will be checking the Steinberg sites as you all suggested.

I bought the Atlon new from Bestbuy so I don't think I have to re-format anything. I only reinstalled all my music software and moved my Sonar files.

I heard that you can use FM7 as a standalone softsynt. I want to use it as a sound source from a midi sequencer that doesn't have DXi insert capability. Is it possible? Possible without using MIDI-YOKE?
