No offense Knothead but this dude only sings mediocre...lyrics are very basic and his voice isn't making this stand out. The beat could fit the right person, but he isn't it.
This might have worked in the 80s, but not now...c'mon Knothead, step it up...you can do it.
On Traktor 3 (or possibly Traktor 2), you can change the pitch by itself OR the tempo by itself. I've done it before so I know it can be done.
You may wanna try to download Traktor 2.

Nothin wrong with that...Most drummers may or may not know that one. The guy who mentored me a long time ago taught me stuff like that.
I still Google different types of things that I either don't know or want to become more knowledgeable on...it's good for you!

Yo what up Change...been a while, hope things are still all good.
Yeah it's been a little dead over here...but that usually means people are too busy makin that hustle. Can't fault them for that.
Fill us in on what's good in your hood.

The loop could be either MIDI data or recorded audio. IMO a MIDI loop is a lot easier to repeat over and over and make changes throughout parts of the song than the same loop made with hardware (but this could just be relative to my specific experience).
But on both of them you should be able...
It really depends on your needs...me myself I use an Oxygen8 because it's small, portable, and I can switch pitches on it easily.
If you're doing most of your editing in software, then you don't really need too much. If you travel a lot and do music while on the road, I'd suggest something...
Yeah there's stuff all over the net on how to use anything...this stuff included. Just takes a little time and effort.
I just extended a hand out since a lot of here use the stuff on the regular.
Here's the thing...if you're already doing music then you should have the mics and stuff needed for recording the vocals. So that part's probably taken care of.
He needs the beats. With a budget of about $100.00, I would say that he should buy FL Studio (formerly Fruityloops). It's a lot...
Farno...I would never go with workstations. They limit you to sounds in the board and what's inside the expansion packs. A midi controller is potentially endless as long as you have soundfonts for them (in the software youre using with it).
Also there is a way to rip sounds off of the...
Hmmm the keyboard is a nice start for midi purposes. What's your spending limit?
Sounds like you're sticking to outside of the PC from what I can see. If he has a PC then you may want to head him towards that direction...just as another possible option (variety is great).

and then when you're done with that solo it and blend it as a solo track and then chop out the silent parts and you can throw them in as effects next time.
I also agree with the second keyboard. Midi can do a LOT of things and a bass guitar should rest primarily in the background with a little bit up front. Most of that should be covered up by your actual guitar and the drums.
If you do go the midi route....do a search for soundfonts and try to...
I have mine split across two screens simply because when I run cubase I can edit on one screen and mix off the other screen and not have to flip back and forth between them (like thebigcheese said).
Of course you can also surf the net on one screen and watch porn on the other screen too LOL...
demi...do me a favor. Take pics of your recording area and send them to me. I might be able to suggest some things that could help you out.
quite possibly on the cheap side too if I might add.
F to tha I to tha E
I agree with knothead on this one. I still think the best advice I could give you to fix this problem is to go with the PVC pipe booth with the moving sheets. If the sound going into the recording aren't good, it's gonna be HARD to clean them up...if its even possible. That's just on the...
