    first song on the boards

this is the first time (like a virg...) I post a song - link, on the HR. check out "Yellow Bus", if you will, and any feedback would be appreciated it was recorded with fender strat- direct into a soundcraft, out to a delta 6 something or other, into sonar 2.x (winxp) vox in a bad room (no...

    'been a while

I tried to listen to "I jus don't know you" but it kept cutting out after 3 seconds, so I checked out "Lift1". I dug the groove and the vox, the drums sounded sharp and clean the pi-anee (read piano) is a bit too legatto, it needs some bite, some snap good stuff

    Boarder Road Re-Mix

nice tune I would pull the acu. gtr back a tiny bit and prob. pan a bit more left and I don't know how many tracks the drums and percus. are on, but if you could pan some of the percus. "out", I think it would create some depth there (like the congas/bongos?, panned right ect.)

    I'm back

I really liked this one, very emotive (is that a word?) love the up front vox, rich and sweet seems like I 'm looking for something in the left ear how 'bout a harmonica? there is something at about 3:20 when the tempo slows, like the two gtrs are at odds, maybe pull back on the trem. work...

Friends, Romans, Country Hicks, Lend Me Your Ears

good song sorta eagles a little the whole song has great stereo separation except the lead vox. I don't know if it's this damn mp3 format but the lead vox has an unnatural chorus effect and is dead mono can you add a stereo reverb to it? as to the edit, my guess is at the end I think 317 or18?

    battle/funeral instrumental

very cool goth groove The gtr has a good bite and presence. Do I here three gtrs left center and right? am not sure. If so they need some separation to get a smidgen out of phase. and perhaps played in different harmonies. and is the gtr being doubled with a pitch shift down an octave or...

i tried really hard this time. really.

I was thinking Jim M before I read any of the other replies. I don't think the vox were sung too low, but maybe need a touch more attitude or edge. This is not to say I didn't like them 'cause I did. How 'bout a dab of phase or flange here and there like not all the way through but in select...

"Run For Your Life"- New Song

I would really like to here this and others (your songs) at a higher quality (like CD), instead of mp3 compressed over the net. to see a fuller? dynamic...

    Overall sound problem

I not familiar with the Roland. Are you recording the whole band live or are you overdubbing, by that I mean one track at a time? I'm not hearing a stereo mix. All of the instr/vox are dead center -mono. I would start there, with a little separation.

    New Song- First Mix

checking out what I think is V.3, I like this song better everytime I listen. Almost afraid to suggest anything else but, back the dist. grts off just a tad, vocals are sitting much better

    New Song- First Mix

Sounds like: godsmack, Alice in Chains, Brand X, Dave Mathews (=good) I like how the acoustic gtr sits in the mix, maybe bring up the organ pad, ditto on the vocals (just a tad) Needs some sound or something to intro, very short swell perhaps or maybe a low pad for a bar or two very well...
