Hi all,
Does anyone have any thoughts on budget Vocaliser / Harmonisers, we've been looking at the TC Helicon H1 and the Boss VE20, if anyone has any experince with either of these ar laternatives around the same pricing would be appreciated.
Be a lot simpler if this was the industry standard for measurement :-)
Any thoughts on these in comparision

They're not as powerful but we've actually used that we hired for a practice and they had plenty of...
Thanks for the input so far, anyone any input on the reliability of Behringers speakers ???
bdenton,
You mention the 212A's are 400 watts is that RMS / how would the D's compare in terms of volume which are 550 watt or 345 RMS ???
Moresound,
Yes it is largely the price combined with the light...
Do you not think so even with just vocals going through them, they're meant to be 345 RMS each ????
Realistically it would probably be 100 absolute max (we'd take the bigger pa if it was more) and probably more likely 75 / 80 people.
I think we did a dinner dance for 100 people going back a few...
You hear very mixed reviews on Behringer gear I thought I'd post in here and see what peoples commenst are.
As a band we have a bigger PA system which is bass bins / power amps etc but it's an awful lot of gear / hassle (heavy) to move around especially for practices but would also be nice to...
Thanks for looking into it for me I'm not exactly clued up in this area at all, I'm wondering if maybe it's just the calibration on the sliders and nothing else, much appreciated !!!!
Thanks for all the comments / input everyone, much appreciated !!!!!!
bouldersounguy,
The amp is the Carlsbro Proline 2000
http://www.dv247.com/pa-systems-and-live-sound/carlsbro-powerline-pro-2000-power-amplifier--30496
The speakers are the Carlsbro Delta 15/400's...
I'll have to have a look at that and see when I'm using it, I'm just a little concerned about what's being put out as the amp is 600 watt (which I believe is continuous) and the speakers are 400w Con't and 800w Prog so don't want to overdo it and pop them but for the same token need enough...
Not sure if anyone can help but do different makes of mixing desk have different output levels ???
I tried a Behringer one with my PA this morning and had to have the gain, volume for the channel and overall volume really high and it still wasn't that loud. I then plugged the same mic into a...
Vince,
I'm pretty much a newbie as well but I'd probably try it 1st and see how happy you are with the sound you get, you may be quite suprised.
I found some old recordings I did approx 3 years ago the other night with the whole band plugged straight into a mixer (with electronic drums) then...
A couple of good quality Intefcaes to choose between could be

I just read back through this and wonder if you're getting slightly confused ????? With point 2 as an example you say you'd need a basic mixer to go with the Tascam US 1641. Depending what you want to do the mixer isn't neccassary as the levels can be adjusted for each individual input on the US...
Mediaman09
Just a bit more info on the Behringer, as a mixing desk for playing live or as a sub mix I think it's brilliant, superb quality and incedible value for money but as an Audio Interface it's really not great.
The USB interface that came with it I could never get rid of a noise it...
Thanks for the replies !!!
TeyshaBlue,
Are you using the Zoom to record to other software on your PC and if so how is it for that, as mentioned I'm mainly intending to use Reaper.
I have seen some mention of latency issues, any thoughts / input on that or is it something that's been resolved...
