    Alesis Masterlink

One of the cool futures of the masterlink is you can burn in 16 bit , 24 bit sample rate 44.1 48 khz , 88.2 khz and 96 khz So for example when you're recording in 24bit - 48khz you can mix it to the masterlink in the same format and burn it in the same format and send it to your mastering...

    Nail Trails - Metal/Rock

Rythem Guitars are a bit loud overal the mix sounds verry basy (without a real bas) and trembly This is almost for shure mixed by a guitarist Mabe put a bit of mid on the guitar (1k-1.5k) and put the guit it a bit down. Lose a bit of treble on the hat's and OH, and put the other drum's a bit...

    What's the sound difference btwn MXL603 & Oktava MC012?

C1000s ???? The c1000s is IMHO the WORST condensor mic for a acc. guitar. It's ok on toms, perc and elec. guitar The 603s is IMHO GOOD on acc. guit .. Babe you got a bad one......, or a good c1000s ;) Remco

Having trouble getting the mix just right!

let me gues....., You are the lead guitarist on the song right??? It's waaaaaay to loud(the lead guitar) Pan the rythem guit to the left and piano to the right (or other way around) After 16 sec's the lead guitar is kicking in and eating up al the bandwith maybe a bit of reverb here and there...

    Captain Kennedy

Not bad Hi, I'm listening to crested angel , performance wise this is not to bad @ al but the sound is horrible, mabe try the next time 2 put the vocals a bit more upfront.. All good thing: song and performance are ok, the balance of the guitar and vocals are a bit better the same old blues...

    Tear apart my classic rocker.

Not to bad I think the oh and hh are a bit to loud/bright. the snare need some eq. mabe cut some low mid in the snare (200-800 hz) and add a little treble some vocals might be good idea. Remco

Wow! nice Verry modern sounding, a bit 2 modern to MY taste 2 much compression (mastering?) wich make it a bit restles maybe the guit's a tad 2 loud I dig the 'out of key' piano parts. Overal, pretty good for a first time. Remco
