ok...so the Q49 is being recognized by Cubase but, I doubt if your Q49 has a library of soundfonts...they are usually located on your computer....the midi data does not have sounds attached from your device......... they need to be assigned on your computer through Cubase and your audio...

I don't use midi........... but, I do know that you have to assign the location of your soundfonts from within your recording software preferences

it's probably a copyright protected disk that you are trying to RIP.........if so, try a different encoder....

check your audio preferences for midi playback...... it might be turned off or not correctly assigned.

try recording the backing track to your DAW THEN mixing it with the vocal....... fn' noobs.......sheeshhhh...:rolleyes:

upbeat tune...I like upbeat tunes.......vox sounds slightly lo fi....perhaps a little drier might be cool too.... kick is low in the mix...brass is thin and dry.....needs verb...I like the tambourine though... Real good song for any age...never mind 17.

starts off like Pink Floyd...then goes all funky.....I think it needs some musical change during the sax part...drop in a chorus there and you'll have a winner....not a fan of the canned drums.....ambient sounds (wind) is pretty cool.... I dug the lo fi vox.

I liked it man and yeah..the sax jumps out at you here...very cool. You really should spend some more time on this with effects and compression..... uber funkidocious....

I really like the cello ...is it a synth?...if so...how did you do it? I like it but, it sounds to loud in the mix....it's nice and wet too.... alternatively, the vox is way too wet. Vox harmonys are ok too. I think if you lost the verb on the vox it would create a nice dynamic in between the...
