i have pod pro and am trying to record direct - i need power chords(slight distortion ) but with control - wild but tame is this done by hitting just a couple of strings (not so hard) or do you have to hit them all or is it in the pod settings mostly all i can get is a bit muddy

my neighbor has psr6300 and dx27s (or 275?) are either of these worthwile or not wothy companions- either as controller or synth (?)

i have firewire 410 and bx5 m audio speakers but can't afford their sub woofer- can anyone suggest how to rout throug calkwalk 3 sonar a powered subwoofer

my pod pro has spdif signal to my firewire 410 which i use -can anyone say how valuable this is or is analogue signal just as good (there are a lot of volume issues when using spdif) funny work arounds !

what about after touch my casio ctk 481 doesn't have any "expression" they are sharp blocks of sound (midi)-no gradual tailing off of sound or volume "control" i end up creating a volume envelope in sonar to control volume do i need a better keyboard or can i program it to have feel

Best Keyboard Under $300 As a beginner in midi i have to ask, HOW MUCH DOES THE SOUND OF YOUR KEYBOARD MATTER if you're going to be in midi anyway? Also, any thoughts on what brand I can get under $300 that would be workable for a fairly decent piano/organ sound? I have 2 keyboards already...

how do you safely clean up (get rid of) old versions of saved projects(songs) -to clean up before moving on to my second album. i want to keep just the final mixdown version(per project folder) and rid my self of many other versions as well as get rid of other (per project folders) of the same...

thanks i guess i'm not alone -the interesting ones are the "6db" it looks like it compresses the middle volumes then lets go - i wish the creator of these presets would be proud enough to brag about his (or her) creations. by the way are there any good books on multi compressors

has anyone made any sense out of the presets- the help screen would have been more useful if it shared a little bit of phylosophy (sp?) about the different preset structures (why they were constucted that way) and how you use the bands "properely"

the firewire 410 has so many features dual headphone output multiple inputs- more features than omni and cheaper (when o bought mine) if your going to record acoustic with other person the headphone feature is in valuable

i though i saw some were a 3d view of freq spread over a whole song -does anybody know about this
