i would recommend protools over garage band for anything above hobby. garageband is fun, but protools will provide you with the tools you need. on thing i like about protools, is i feel it is pretty scalable. it is simple to operate on the surface, but provides you with incredibly deep editing...

i sold my old 32 8buss to my church to use in our main auditorium. it works great, but the only thing that is really annoying is the mute button does not mute the aux sends when the sends are pre fader. is there a mod avaliable to make so the mute button mutes aux sends whether they are pre or...
you would be a fool to sever a relationship with a client over a pro tools session. if you refuse to give it to them, they will NOT come back. they will also spread word about the situation. i always assume my client will be taking their sessions. i require them to buy a hard drive. this way, i...
open "workspace" under "windows" on the menu bar. find the trive an set the "T" to "R". i dont have protools in front of me, so that may not be exactly the correct spot to find "workspace"...

your money is better spent on 703. i would not buy acoustic treatment from anyone that claims that it does "soundproofing", no matter what the material or specs.
all that being said, i really wonder what the guitar modelers would sound like with top notch AD/DA conversion. i have a feeling this is the biggest drawback to these systems anyway.
btw, i have the ac30cc as well. with a 2x12 ext. love it! my dream amp...
NOOOOOOO!!! that totally defeats the feeling of using a tube amp. what is the point. FYI, the pod is not true bypass. which means, even though your "amp modeling" is off, it is still going through the freakin process. i absolutely hate modeling technology.. you could probably tell. give me a...
i was searching for some new eq plugins for the last few weeks. demoed the sony oxford and the urs stuff. i ended up going with the URS N series and A series. the oxford was awesome, but too transparent. i like the sonic character of the URS stuff. this is coming from a person who previously own...
