I think what distinguishes a great songwriter from an average one is the ability to place yourself in a situation that your not in,or may never be in,and write about as though you were. I've always thought that a good song writer makes a great liar. I know if I only wrote about myself or people...

Maybe its just the intimidation factor of things unfamiliar but that gear looks like it would be more difficult to use than what we have available today. kev

Dont even get me started on Squire! If your playing live they wont stay in tune worth a damn and they sound like shit. Maybe you could put some good pickups in them and make it sound ok but thats as good as its gonna get. If your recording...then why the hell are you using a Squire? kev

Thanks for the other suggestions. I think at this point almost anything is better than the sonic foundry wanna be reverb. I checked out the wavs trueverb and all I can say is wow! That is one nice sounding reverb. kev

Yea,the Sonic Foundry reverb really does sound like gravel rolling around in a tin can. Plug-ins are the way I want to go so I'll check out the UltraFunk. 50 bucks for a good reverb,I can handle that! Thanks. kev
