yeah, i will just try them both out. The only problem with using the SP b1 is that with my aardvark direct pro q10 even with the preamp turned down as low as it gets(-8) it still clips sometimes, unless i put the overheads like 6 feet away from the drum set.

just wonderign while on the topic, approximately how much would it cost to get an amp rebiased, the one i need it done on hs 4 12ax7 tubes, and 4 el84 tubes.
