Let's say I were to get the Soundcraft M8. Would I need to get a program like Live 3.0 for me to be able to record onto my computer? How would I connect the M8 to my computer? If I did need Live 3.0, would there be any need for me to have my Cubase SL? Thanks a lot, Chris

Huh? No, I have used this for years without a problem. I think it is the New Card I bought though it had worked for awhile. I had heard of a certain way to fix the problem earlier but I don't remember. The Fostex was probably the best thing I have bought yet.

yes but why does it say card error, not card full.

Why after I record for about three minutes, I get a message saying there is a Card Error. The files are still there, but I can no longer record any until I transfer the files. My 128 MB CArd must be really small, maybe I should try to get a larger one...

I mean it is a piece of crap. It was all recorded from a keyboard, via micing the speaker, because it wasnt that new, and it actually sounded better that way then if we wouldve had it go straight through to the MR-8.

No, you didn't offend me at all. What I really need is a larger card, because half way through it I will either get: Card Full or some sort of Card Error.

I still am confused as to how to make it hi-fi. Edit: Not only that, but the vocals are off by about a tenth of a second, I just noticed.
