They were given to me as a gift, I don't even know if they are of quality or not, since they are made in Britain and I didn't know much about them.
But do you think that is a good signal chain?
My signal chain is:

Does anyone have any suggestions to any headphones? Or would I even need any headphones? Price range depends on...

So if I get a multiple input soundcard, would I want to get Live 3.0? Would I still use Cubase SL, like after Live 3.0, I could edit it on Cubase? And, what multiple input soundcard would you suggest?
Then I just hook up the mixer to the soundcard and the soundcard is hooked up to the...
Let's say I were to get the Soundcraft M8. Would I need to get a program like Live 3.0 for me to be able to record onto my computer? How would I connect the M8 to my computer? If I did need Live 3.0, would there be any need for me to have my Cubase SL?
Thanks a lot,
Chris

I was interested in getting one of these. Anyone have any experience with it to tell me if it is of quality or not? I know someone who has one of these and just loves it.
Thanks,
Chris
Huh? No, I have used this for years without a problem. I think it is the New Card I bought though it had worked for awhile. I had heard of a certain way to fix the problem earlier but I don't remember. The Fostex was probably the best thing I have bought yet.
Dude, let it go. I got my question answered, I didn't even think about looking at the PDF manual. My god, this is insane. I got my question answered and you go just about nuts. Let it go. I am no longer going to respond to this thread because it just takes up space, with you sitting here...
NO I couldn't have. I was at someone else's house on my Laptop without my trust manual at my side, and I needed an answer. Whatever happened to a thing called being polite. I guess that is thrown out the window on the internet.
It has been working fine in the past, except for the Card Full but that is easier to fix. More specifically, upon starting up the MR-8, it reads:
Warning
FILE ERROR: OD
c
Press ENTER Key!
What Am I supposed to do now? I downloaded the mr08_mv1.05, and dragged it into the MR-8 CARD...
Hello, I just purchased an iBook, and I was wondering if there were any type of Monitors I could use that would plug into them somehow, that were quality so I could mix well on them? The Harman Kardon are nice speakers, but would that be the right move to get something like these...
Why after I record for about three minutes, I get a message saying there is a Card Error. The files are still there, but I can no longer record any until I transfer the files. My 128 MB CArd must be really small, maybe I should try to get a larger one...
I mean it is a piece of crap. It was all recorded from a keyboard, via micing the speaker, because it wasnt that new, and it actually sounded better that way then if we wouldve had it go straight through to the MR-8.
No, you didn't offend me at all.
What I really need is a larger card, because half way through it I will either get: Card Full or some sort of Card Error.
Wow, was that really necessary when I asked how I could fix the song on Cubase SL?? Not really. I know it is nice and all to give one's honest opinion, but that is just not even a constructive comment at all.
