Another excellent guess :D but not quite.
Another hint you can rule out industrial and environmental applications.
It was designed however to listen to something that "oscilates" normally at 1 to 1.67 Hz although the "oscilations" I am describing are not usually measured by the second but by...
I am attaching a frequency response graph for a "microphone" that peaks between 300Hz and 700Hz with a rapid drop off after 700Hz.
For all intents and purposes it is a microphone but it was not designed for music recording applications.
Can you guess what it was designed for? (One hint it is...
Yes according to FL Tech Support...below is cut/pasted from the loops suppport site:
"Hi,
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering if it is possible to use Midi in FL Studio somehow to playback on my (also Midi) keyboard. It is all wired up and i regularly record from my...
I don't have any quality experience with any of the above but the Alto Alpha Verb got a good review in TAPE OP - at least at its pricepoint....
Any other opinions on the Alto Alpha Verb?
Carvin has a decent looking kit they call a "Bolt Guitar" and have good necks.
Warmouth has the best reputation for high quality adn they usaully have a close out section on their website.
I second the redomendation on Dan Erlwines Guitar Repair Book there is a huge section on set up and also...
Thanks Manning;
I really don't need but 4-8 tracks from the PC. I am mostly working on the Yamaha AW16G wich is in another room from the PC. The PC has elcheapo monitors that came with the PC and not suitable for any serious audio mixing but with headphones hopefully I can tweak some decent...
I am trying to install a demo version of Sonar 2.0 that came with my AW16G.
When installing I got a DirectX 8.1 not detected (and obviously required by Sonar 2.0).
So I downloaded DirectX8.1 twice and installed it several times but I still get this message when I try to install the Sonar 2.0...
Go to Froogle.com
Enter your preamp and model number and you will find a current list of the lowest published prices on line.
Print out the lowest one of the preamp you choose and take it with you to your local GC.
You may be able to haggle a little lower but this is a quick easy method to...
If you really think about it ....cows and other edible animals consume alot of precious air and cows alone produce more methane per year than all our fossil fuel powered vehicles combined.
Plants and vegetables on the other hand recycle our exhaled CO2 and reprocess it to much need O2...
Reason Adapted does not come with any manual what so ever....It's free demo ware....
Not providing even a cursory manual scores low points for any consideration of buying Reason.
It is loaded but I don't have a clue what to do with it!
Just go ahead and tell us!
If you are not the manufacturer I don't think DJL can complian too much and I don't care if he does.
I like having Alan and some of the others around...I find it educational and take the appropriate grain of salt if someone has a vested interest in a product.
Disclaimer...I posted this at Studio Forums as well but have not gotten much response so I am going to try here as well.
I am not so much a PC recorder at the moment and went with a Yamaha AW16G for my needs, budget and intermittent PC imcompatiblity issues.
I do have FL Studio (hoping to...
Hello to everyone who has followed this thread.
I want to let everyone know that Ssscientist and I seemed to have unintentionally gotten into a heated disagreement and we have (I hope) worked through it via some private e-mails.
I want to say for the record while I took offense to his second...
Now what would be really cool is if we could earn points kind of like earning airline miles for free gear from the retailers that advertise on this fine site.
Every 500 points awarded earns you $10 in gift certificates. This would reward the polite, helpful, friendly people that contribute so...
Congrats and best wishes Deep Water!
I hope to be ordering some Wharfdales early next year even at your excellent price it will be after January until I can tap into some discretionary cash again.
Keep us posted on new developments.
Sorry I was just kidding about giving you the "1" I just couldn't do it.
All I can get about mine is the total number of points posted or something....
I couldn't agree more!
Now I am really torn...I like your online demeanor (here and on the AW16G site) too much to dis you but I want you to be happy so I gave you a 1 and a 10 rating. :p
I just noticed this the other day...so what is the story behind the "Reputation Points"?
Is this a popularity contest or are points awarded by Moderator's for good knowlegable friendly advice versus subtracted for BS Poser posts and general rude behavior?
Just curious if I should be...
