I'm not getting a signal to Cubasis VST

Alright, well I plug my guitar in to channel R or L in on my EMU 0404 card. I look on patchmix, and when I strum, I have signal, I can hear it coming out of the soundcard, through my reciever, and out my speakers. The tutorial that comes with patchmix tells me to set outputs on the R and L...

Your favorite brand of Acoustic Guitar?

I've been looking to buy an acoustic guitar in the $500-$800 price range. Recently I stumbled upon the Taylor 110, and it simply blew me away. I compared it to some Martins, Gibsons, and even Taylors that were more expensive, and I prefered the sound of the 110. I've been looking around to play...

I'm not getting a signal to Cubasis VST

I get signal/sound from Patchmix. I have Patchmix DSP outputting the right to ASIO 1/2 and left to ASIO 3/4. On the VST inputs box in Cubasis, it says Card L1 and Card L1 copy, which doesn't seem to be what I want. Seeing as this is my friest time using Cubasis, I have no idea what's going on.

Your favorite brand of Acoustic Guitar?

You're right. I don't know why anyone would ever vote for Rogue. I must have made this poll in a drunken haze. I don't know what I was thinking.

Your favorite brand of Acoustic Guitar?

With the most overrated/overpriced acoustic guitar poll up, I thought it would be interesting to see what your favorite brand of acoustic guitar is, and why. So vote away. ps. I apologize if I missed any of your favorites.

    Most Overrated/Overpriced Acoustic Guitars?

Alright, I noticed a similiar poll for electric guitars, and I decided to start this one up. I'm not going to try and state my opinion, but I would like to see what you people think. Just remember, expensive doesn't always mean overpriced. ;) ps. sorry if i'm missing any brands you would have...

    FS: Fender Stratocaster

Geez everyone, just give the guy a break. Do you realize how elementary you all are acting? You're making something that's not a big deal, and blowing it up into some huge issue. It's not like it matters any.

    Check out "operator"

I'm not going to be the best for criticism, but here's my two cents. I very much liked the song. I was impressed. Although, in the chorus, when you sing the word "operator," it sounds weird to me. It almost sounds like you're trying to double track your vocals, but it sounds a little off to my...

Thanks for the help. So, if you guys had my set-up, and a fairly limited budget, what would you buy? A mic preamp? Anything else?
