got it to work! I finally had success transferring tracks to PC from MR-8 via USB cable, and back to MR-8 using wavmanager. Yipee! I think I followed the same procedure each time, so I'm not sure what the fix was. Third time is the charm , I guess. So...once I have the wav files saved to my PC...
