Ok, after reading more reviews, it seems the Rack will do, the Exteme has the same sounds as the rack?I read the tube isnt special, it is useless?

Also it seems as if the Triton Rack is QUITE old.Are their any plans to make a new rack, I mean since The motif ES rack came out you would think they'd make a new one'?

What exaclty is the tube thing for?What differences are their between the Rack and Extreme besides the lack of keys, wheels, and tube?

So the Tritons A/D converters are top notch, and wouldn't benefit from say an apogee 4000$ converter, but an audio interface such as the one that comes bundled in ProTools HD3 would?
